Veerhouse Voda was one of 30 business plan winners that were awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment by USAID, PADF through its LEAD program. The objective of the LEAD program is to attract investment in Haitian commercial enterprises, especially those that promote job creation, income generation and increase development in the country. USAID took the opportunity to celebrate with its business plan winners their success and overall achievement of enhancing local enterprises. The day also gave the winners an opportunity to showcase their business models, services and products, gain insight into best business practices, and network of course. Mr Brendon Brewster, Veerhouse’s managing partner, proudly received the award, knowing that the company is on its way in creating that positive social impact and providing disaster resilient homes that initially urged its desire to do business in Haiti.
